![]() not just the recent file thumbnails images I ve been processing a lot of large files using Acrobat Pro, mostly merging hundreds of images files into single PDF documents. And to be technical Adobe Photo Downloader ingests images, it does not import them. Hello there Im looking to clear the cache of the program. Simply a Pixel Per Inch is very different than a Dot Per Inch, and the significance of that difference is, well, significant.Īnd again, as Lumigraphics stated Bridge does not import images. Rather, it shoud read the (ostensable) 2400 ppi. Ignoring that that's very probably an exagerated claim about its resolution, scanners CANNOT scan at 2400 dpi. I often see adds for scanners saying that it can scan at 2400 dpi. Language is a funny thing and often it's necessary to be precise. In addition, Bridge can work with Adobe Camera Raw to make adjustments in images. Having them open can cause file access conflicts that keep you from deleting one or more of the temp files. With that said, Bridge has scripts that can interact with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other applications to work with other applications. Close Photoshop, as well as Adobe Bridge, Illustrator, and any other Adobe programs you might have running. All Bridge can do is to "look" at the files. The technical term of "importing" is the act of bringing files and/or data into an application so it can be used (not just observed), by the importing application. ![]() Yes, you do occasionaly see that PD will "import" the images, but this is not correct. What Photo Downloader does is technically called "ingestion" of images, not importing. As Lumigraphics said, Bridge has no importing capabilities. ![]() Hi With all due respect, your understanding of the use of the word "importing" is incorrect here. ![]()
